House Rules. Please read before reserving or entering the nets..........
- All reservations must be paid in advance. If not paid by the due dates, reservations may be cancelled without further notice
(payment must be received within three days of a reservation). - First reservation must be made in person. Only members may make reservations by telephone. All others must be made in
person.
- Cancellations will only be refunded if notified 72 hrs (3 days) in advance.
- Reservations are accepted on the understanding that ICUSA reserves the right to cancel nets at short notice due to unavoidable circumstances.
- Indoor sports white footwear to be worn in the nets. Footwear with black, heavily ridge, studded or spiked soles is NOT permitted on the playing surface.
- Conventional white cricket clothing to be worn while in the nets. Visitors are reminded that track suits and shorts may NOT be worn in the nets. (NO EXCEPTIONS)
- Players are expected to provide their own cricket equipment, including approved cricket balls.
- Maximum of FIVE players in a net at any one time. This condition is essential for the safety of all net users and non-adherence will result in immediate termination of the reservation for persistent offenders.
- USE OF HELMETS - ICUSA will adhere strictly to the following directive. All players are not allowed to bat or to stand up to the stumps when keeping wicket without a helmet (with a faceguard ) against a hard ball.
- SCHOOLS/COLLEGES: Applications made by schools and colleges (for pupils only) must be endorsed on official school/college
- headed paper and signed by the principal or bursar. All other applications will be charged the full rate.
- Coaching is undertaken on the acceptance that whilst every effort is made to provide the coach requested, this may not always
be possible due to availability.
- Nets booked for children under the age of 14 (without the services of a coach) must at all times be supervised by an adult.
- It is imperative that cricket equipment should not be left in the nets nor should batsmen pad up in the nets.
Visitors should not practice outside the nets (this includes the peripheral area around the nets).
- CELLULAR PHONES: Should be kept switched off around the netting area.
- CHEWING GUM is NOT allowed in the net area.
- We regret that we cannot be responsible for lost or stolen property, neither can we be held responsible for any injury incurred, so please be careful at all times.
- Visitors are advised to confine themselves to the use of decent and dignified language in their communications while on the premises of ICUSA and avoid use of obscene or vulgar language that would interfere with the tradition inherent in the "Gentleman's" game.
- Players are advised to abstain from alcohol prior to net practice. All accidents should be reported immediately to ICUSA staff.
ICUSA recommends that you consult a physician prior to training at our facility.
- Bowling machines will be operated only by ICUSA staff.
- Failure to comply with any of these conditions may result in cancellation of reservations.
